The Strange Saga of Edward Teller and Area 51

Taking into consideration the fact that the saga of Bob Lazar is coming up to its 30th anniversary, I thought I would turn my thoughts into a 3-part feature (here’s part-1 and here’s part-2). The third and final part revolves around none other than an encounter that Lazar had in the early eighties with a world-famous scientist. It was in 1982 that the Los Alamos Monitor newspaper ran an article on Lazar, which revealed (a) Lazar’s love of jet-cars and (b) his then-employment at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility. Today, it’s the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center.

PHOTOS EMERGE OF SYRIAN BASE ALLEGEDLY TARGETED BY ISRAELI AIR STRIKE

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that at least 14 people were killed in the strike, with Iran's semi-official Fars news agency saying that four Iranian soldiers were among the casualties. Foreign sources cited by Israel's Channel Two News suggested that the air strike targeted systems that sought to disrupt the ability of the Israeli Air Force to conduct operations over Lebanon and Syria. The attack took place hours after US President Donald Trump warned of a "big price to pay" following the reports of a poison gas attack on the rebel-held town of Douma which killed dozens of people, including children. Trump and Western allies have been discussing possible military action to punish Syria's President Bashar Assad for the attack. The Syrian state denied government forces had launched any chemical attack. Russia, Assad’s most powerful ally, called the reports fake. Trump on Tuesday canceled a planned trip to Latin America later this week to focus instead on a possible response to the events in Douma, the White House said. The Israeli military last February accused Iranian-backed militias of operating at the base, from where it said an Iranian drone that was shot down over northern Israel had been launched.

With cooler weather approaching, many of us are anticipating even more reasons to utilize our beloved slow cookers!

That’s why I was beyond THRILLED to find this life-changing Slow Cooker Pineapple Chicken recipe.

The sweet, tangy chicken compliments the pineapples in a way every tastebud truly deserves to experience.

The pineapples are so juicy and flavorful from all the slow cooking — and the tender chicken gets more savory with each bite. However, my favorite part about this divine dish is still the flavor-soaked pineapple chunks!

It Is Your Attitude, Not Your Aptitude, That Determines Your Altitude

I worked at a large company that believed in something similar to that quote. If workers didn't do a good job, it was the supervisor's job to find out if they didn't know what/how to do the job(their knowledge/skills) or if they just didn't care about doing a good job (their attitude). The company believedthat you could always train a person to do the job but it wasn't always possible to make them want to do it.
